ReleaseDundee College picked up a hat trick of awards at the Scotland’s Colleges Marketing Awards held at the Dunblane Hydro Hotel last Thursday. The three awards included one for the best integrated campaign for the “What Can You Do” campaign created by Avian.
Avian has worked in partnership with Dundee College’s marketing department since 2008 when we redeveloped the College brand in line with the College’s vision Raising Ambition, Realising Success.
The campaign was designed to target key audiences such as school leavers, and the long term unemployed and amongst key influencers such as parents and teachers.
Creatively the campaign brings the blue U in the College logo to life and encourages the target audiences to explore the wide range of courses available at the College to improve their employment prospects and opportunities.
The campaign ran on 48 sheet posters at key sites across the city and a 3D animated TV commercial was created for the STV Dundee micro region. Advertising was also created for bus interior and exteriors.
All advertising prominently displayed the College’s URL and encouraged prospective students to see what courses were available, the site designed and built by Avian featured a customisable BBC style home page.
